Ford Money Birthday Gift General Terms and Conditions

These are the Promotion Terms and Conditions between you and us, The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited (“MLP”), in relation to the Ford Money* Celebration Gift Promotion (“the Promotion”). They explain what you can expect from us in providing the applicable gift to you, and what we expect from you.

Please note that the individual terms and condition for each of the 3 Birthday Gifts, which are in addition to these general Promotion Terms & Conditions are also set out on this website.

 

What the claim website is    
          

The Claim Site www.gift.fordmoney.co.uk is hosted and administered by MLP, who manage and administer the Promotion on behalf of Ford Money.

An Eligible Accountholder who has been offered a Gift will be granted access to log into this Site. This Site may be used by Eligible Accountholders for the purposes of:

•       Viewing the Ford Money Celebration gift code/s and gift information.

•       Ford Money Celebration FAQs

•       Ford Money Celebration Help & Support

Who is eligible for the Promotion
 

This Site is provided solely for eligible existing Ford Money accountholders who have been sent an invitation email by Ford Money offering one (1) of the following gifts: (i) a Night Away for Two; (ii) Afternoon Tea for Two and (iii) 12 free IMO Carwashes (the “Gifts”).

In order to be eligible for a Gift, you must have:

(i) opened an account with Ford Money between the dates of 11/04/2017 and 31/12/2017 inclusive; and

(i) still hold an active account at the date you claim your Gift (note that the active account does not have to be the same account that you originally took out with Ford Money, provided that it is in your name).

If you hold multiple active accounts with Ford Money you will only be offered one Gift. You will not receive multiple emails by Ford Money offering multiple Gifts.

If an active account is held by more than one person only one accountholder shall be offered and be able to claim a Gift.

For the avoidance of doubt, if you do not hold an account for any of the eligible products listed above, you are not eligible to receive any of the Gifts under this Promotion.

When we refer to “you” for the remainder of these General Terms & Conditions, we are referring to an eligible accountholder having regard to the qualifying criteria set out above.

General
 

The terms and conditions of this Offer do not alter or vary the terms and conditions of any Ford Money product. Ford Money is not liable for any loss or disappointment caused by any act, omission, or failure on the part of the Promoter or any of its delivery partners.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.

If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to withdraw, modify or terminate this Promotion if required to do so by events outside of our reasonable control. We will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible if this has any impact on your participation in the Promotion.

One Night Away - Terms & Conditions
 

These Terms & Conditions apply if you select the “One Night Away” Gift option and are in addition to the general Promotion Terms & Conditions set out above.

1. This offer entitles customers to stay for one night, on a room only basis free of charge with no obligation to purchase meals or beverages.

2. This offer can only be redeemed by the eligible customer this Gift was issued to and cannot be transferred, gifted, or sold.

3. Bookings can only be made 1-14 days in advance of your stay. Same day bookings and bookings made further than 14 days in advance cannot be accepted.

4. Please refer to your Gift Email for your Unique Booking Code which entitles you to book your free One Night Away, plus the date your One Night Away needs to be booked and taken by.

5. The free one-night stay offer can only be redeemed against the cost of accommodation at participating hotels. A list of participating hotels and locations can be found by visiting: www.gift.fordmoney.co.uk.

6. Bookings can only be made via the dedicated Marketing Lounge Partnership (MLP) Reservations Department either by telephone on 01565 831 816, or by submitting a booking request via the online booking form which can be found at www.gift.fordmoney.co.uk. Any booking or enquiries made directly with the hotel will not be honoured.

7. The offer is based on two adults sharing a standard twin or double room. Breakfast not included. Room upgrades (e.g., to a family room) to include additional guests are chargeable and are to be paid for at the time of booking.

8. Children are subject to the individual hotel's normal children rates and reservations. Children may not utilise the offer.

9. All stays are subject to the hotel's availability for the offer. This availability will fluctuate throughout the year. Some hotels operate a strict room allocation policy for promotional bookings. Please note that if we are unable to accommodate your preferred date(s) no alternative Gift will be offered.

10. This offer does not apply to reservations that include Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas and New Year public or bank holidays in the UK (or where the venue is in Ireland, public or bank holidays in Ireland). Availability may be limited during other key periods e.g., December, Mother's Day, Father’s Day and school holidays.

11. The offer applies to bookings made in advance and does not apply to guests altering a visit after a booking is made.

12. Meals and beverages are not included in the offer. Any payment for meals and beverages will need to be settled with the hotel at the time of purchase or when checking out of the hotel.

13. A charge will apply for room upgrades/special facilities (sea/lake view/four poster beds) or any other such supplements e.g., pet supplements.

14. Any extra nights' accommodation or room upgrades are chargeable and are to be paid at the time of booking. Bookings are made on a non-transferable basis; rooms are pre-paid for and reserved prior to arrival in accordance with the original booking.

15. If you need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances, please note that we will endeavour to accommodate booking and date changes in line with the individual hotel venues terms and conditions, to allow you to use your Gift at a later date. Any payments made direct to the individual hotel venue for additionals, such as room upgrades, or meals for the length of your stay cannot be refunded by MLP and such refunds are at the discretion of the hotel in line with their terms and conditions and cancellation policies.

16. If booking more than one night's accommodation any additional nights will be charged. We will endeavour to accommodate any post-booking changes where possible (subject to any applicable additional charges), but please note that we are under no obligation to process any changes you wish to make after you have made your booking.

17. Prices for any extra nights, room upgrades, and meals are valid at date of this offer going live but may be liable to change.

18. A maximum of one unique booking number can be used on a single booking. Separate bookings, which are believed to be part of the same party, may not combine their unique booking numbers to create a consecutive night stay.

19. Only one unique booking number can be used per stay.

20. Hotels featured and all information is correct at time of this offer going live but may be liable to change.

21. Each hotel has confirmed its willingness to participate in this promotion. The Promoter or any associated partner cannot be held responsible for any hotel subsequently declining acceptance of a booking using the offer.

22. The terms and conditions of each hotel apply.

23. Cost of travel to the hotel and the cost of any travel or holiday insurance associated with the use of the 'one-night free offer' is excluded and is entirely at the expense of each individual. Spending money is not included within the offer.

24. The Promoter and any associated partner shall not be liable for any failure or breach by individual hotels. We accept no responsibility for any loss suffered by any participant of the Promotion that is outside of our reasonable control, or which was not known or foreseeable to us at the time you placed your booking. Any complaints you may have in relation to your stay that relates to the quality of the service or room provided by the hotelier should be dealt with in accordance with the hotel’s own complaints processes.

25. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or discount schemes, or cards generated by either the participating hotels or MLP.

26. No cash alternatives will be offered.

27. The unique booking code has no cash value and is not transferable.

28. The Promoter or any associated partner accepts no liability for loss caused, damage to property or personal injury whilst on the premises of individual hotels, whether caused by the acts or omission of any third party.

29. 30. For the avoidance of doubt, Ford Money is not involved in the administration of the One Night Away Gift. Any complaints associated with the way the Promotion has been administered must be addressed to MLP using the contact details above

Afternoon Tea - Terms & Conditions  
 

These Terms & Conditions apply if you select the “Afternoon Tea” Gift option and are in addition to the general Promotion Terms & Conditions set out above.

1. This offer entitles the recipient to Afternoon Tea for Two, with no obligation to purchase additional food or beverages.

2. Bookings can only be made at the venues listed on mylocalteafortwodeal.com and can only be made between 1 – 30 days in advance of the preferred booking date. Same day bookings and bookings made further than 30 days in advance cannot be accepted.

3. This offer can only be redeemed by the eligible customer this gift was issued to and cannot be transferred, gifted, or sold.

4. Please refer to your Gift Email for your Unique Booking Code which entitles you to book your free Afternoon Tea for Two, plus the date your Afternoon Tea for Two needs to be booked and taken by.

5. 10. It is the customer’s responsibility to advise MLP Reservations Department of any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies at the time of booking. MLP also strongly advise that customers inform the venue on arrival of any such allergies and/or dietary restrictions.

11. Any extra food or drinks and/or upgrades over and above the Afternoon Tea for Two such as Champagne or alcoholic beverages will need to be paid for by the customer directly to the venue.

12. If you need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances, please note that we will endeavour to accommodate booking and date changes in line with the individual chosen venue’s terms and conditions, to allow you to use your Gift at a later date. Any payments made direct to the individual venue for additionals, such as champagne, additional food or beverage outside of the gift entitlements, cannot be refunded by MLP and such refunds are at the discretion of the venue in line with their terms and conditions and cancellation policies.

13. No cash alternatives will be offered.

14. Each venue has confirmed its willingness to participate within this promotion. The Promoter or any associated partner cannot be held responsible for any venue subsequently declining acceptance of a booking using the offer.

15. Cost of travel to the venue and the cost of any travel with the use of the Afternoon Tea for Two Offer is excluded and is entirely at the expense of each individual. Spending money is not included within the offer.

16. We shall not be liable for any failure or breach by individual venues. We accept no responsibility for any loss suffered by any participant of the Promotion that is outside of our reasonable control, or which was not known or foreseeable to us at the time you placed your booking. Any complaints you may have in relation to your stay that relates to the quality of the service, food or drink provided by the venue should be dealt with in accordance with the venue’s own complaints processes.

18. MLP or any associated partner reserve the right to alter, amend or withdraw this offer without prior written notice at their absolute discretion.

Twelve Free IMO Car Washes - Terms and Conditions  
 

These Terms & Conditions apply if you select the “12 free IMO car washes” Gift option and are in addition to the general Promotion Terms & Conditions set out above.

1. This Gift entitles you to 12 months’ worth of free IMO car wash digital codes, subject to the terms and conditions stated below.

2. All 12 monthly car wash digital codes (“Carwash Codes”) will be issued upfront as soon as you successfully select your Gift choice.

3. Each Carwash Code will be attributed to a specific calendar month, which will be valid for the 30 stated days only. The expiry date will be made clear alongside each code. The validity of a voucher cannot be extended, nor can it be reinstated once expired.

4. For the avoidance of doubt, you will be able to access all 12 monthly Carwash Codes via your email after activating the Gift. We strongly recommend that you keep these safe so that you can access them when needed. It is your responsibility to visit your email and access your Carwash Code within its validity period.

5. Each Carwash Code entitles you to a single Triple Shampoo car wash only. You may not select any other cash wash services or use your code as part payment for any other service.

6. To redeem, the digital code displayed on the reward reveal page must be presented upon arrival at an IMO Car Wash site, either as a print-out or electronic form as shown on a smart device. Each Carwash Code features a QR code which needs to be scanned upon redemption.

7. Carwash Codes can only be used at participating IMO Car Wash sites. You can find your nearest site at www.imocarwash.com.

8. Open to UK residents aged 17 or over.

9. The use of each Carwash Code is subject to the availability of the car wash facility and no cash or alternative offer will be provided. It must not be sold and cannot be used for any other purpose.

10. The Carwash Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.

11. Codes that have been photographed or copied will not be accepted.

12. Use of the car wash facility will be under the terms and conditions of IMO which can be found at imocarwash.com/gb/terms-conditions/

13. The IMO Car Wash Gift is subject to a maximum vehicle height restriction of two metres.

14. Some IMO Car Wash sites may also enforce vehicle weight restrictions and will be available on the site Menu board.

15. Vehicles with roof racks, beacons, pipe tubes or any other additional roof/side equipment are not permitted.

16. For the avoidance of doubt, Ford Money is not involved in the administration of the 12 Free IMO Car Washes Gift. Any complaints associated with the way the Promotion has been administered must be addressed to MLP using the online contact form found at www.gift.fordmoney.co.uk. MLP may be required to liaise with IMO Car Wash as necessary to resolve or handle a complaint.
