Managing your account

Making and checking withdrawals

and on the Account Summary page select Account Options and choose Move Money from the menu displayed. Follow the instructions to transfer funds to your Nominated Account or to other eligible Ford Money accounts you may have.

To see if your withdrawal has been successful, select Account Options and choose View Transactions. If the withdrawal’s been debited, it will appear at the top of the page with the date it was processed. If the withdrawal is still being processed, you’ll find it towards the bottom of the page in Pending Transactions.
 

How to view your pending transactions


On the Account Summary page select Account Options and choose View Transactions. Pending transactions will appear at the bottom of the page and definitions of pending transaction statuses can be found in the “Definitions” section on that page.
 

How to view your transaction activity


On the Account Summary page select Account Options and then View Transactions from the menu. You can print a copy of your transaction activity, download as a PDF or export it as a comma -separated values (CSV) file. This type of file stores tabular data (numbers and text) in plain text.
 

How to view your monthly statement


On the Account Summary page select Account Options and then Monthly Statement from the menu. You’ll then see a list of available statements displayed unless this is your first monthly statement, in which case you’ll be taken straight to that statement.

You can print a copy of your statement, download as a PDF or export it as a comma -separated values (CSV) file. This type of file stores tabular data (numbers and text) in plain text.

If you hold one of our Flexible Saver or Regular Saver products you’ll receive an email each month notifying you when your statement is ready to view. We don’t produce monthly statements for our Fixed Savers due to the nature of the product.
 

How to view your interest earnings


On the Account Summary page select Account Options and choose Interest Summary from the menu. You can also print a copy as well.

How to change the frequency of your interest payments


On the Account Summary page select Account Options and choose Account Details from the menu. You can then view the options available on your product and where relevant can change the frequency of your interest payments by selecting Amend and following the instructions.

Personalise your account


If you’re saving with something in mind, you can personalise your account to reflect your reason for saving with a name and an icon.

For instance, if you’ve opened a Flexible Saver to put money away for a holiday, you can rename your account ‘Holiday’ or ‘Sun, Sea, Sand’ - or whatever you want. To do so, choose Personalise Account from the Account Options menu on the Account Summary page and follow the instructions
 

Setting a Savings Goal


If you’re in need of some extra motivation when saving up for something special, you can set yourself goals to encourage you to reach your target.

Log in to your account and select Account Options on the Account Summary page, then choose Add Savings Goal. You’ll be asked to give your goal a name, for example, “My Wedding”, and then enter your target savings amount. You’ll have the option of either specifying the date you want to achieve this goal by, or alternatively, you can enter the amount of money you wish to deposit each month. Once you’ve clicked Next, you’ll need to choose which of your Ford Money accounts to link your goal to. Please note you can only link one goal to one account.

Once your goal has been successfully created, it will appear on your Account Summary page where you’ll be able to track your progress until you reach your Savings Goal.
 

Do you have a Mobile App?


We don’t currently offer a Mobile App but our website utilises Response Web Design. This is a Web design approach aimed at developing sites to provide an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers), incorporating easy reading and navigation with the minimum amount of resizing, panning, and scrolling required.

So if you prefer to apply and manage your savings on a mobile device with a smaller screen you can choose to do so without compromising your online experience.
