Your Nominated Account
During your application, you will have registered a UK Bank or Building Society current account with us. This is known as your Nominated Account and must be used when making deposits to or withdrawals from your Ford Money account(s). Any transactions you attempt to initiate from another account will be rejected. We operate this Closed Loop system in order to prevent fraud and to ultimately keep your money safe and secure.
Transactions
You must always make deposits from your Nominated Account via BACS, CHAPS, or Faster Payment. Note that we don’t accept cheques.
When making your deposit please use the following details:
- Beneficiary Name: FCE Bank plc (Note Ford Money is a trading style of FCE Bank plc)
- Our Sort Code: 20-32-53 (Note that the clearing bank we use is Barclays)
- Our Bank Account Number: 63604551
- Our Reference: Your seven-digit Ford Money account number followed by at least the first three letters of your surname.
Deposits timescales
If you make your deposit by 4pm, that deposit will show in your account on the same day. If you make your deposit after 4pm, that deposit will show in your account the following day. This applies to weekends and includes Bank Holidays.
You will receive a text message once the deposit has reached your account.
Don’t worry, we’ll still apply interest from the day you made your deposit, regardless of whether it was a business day or not.
Withdrawal timescales:
As Ford Money use a clearing bank (Barclays) this has some impacts on our transaction processing times.
To make a withdrawal you’ll need to log in to your Ford Money account. If you make a withdrawal to your Nominated Account before 2pm on a business day, it will be processed that day and the withdrawal will show in your Nominated Account on the next business day. If you miss this deadline, or make the withdrawal on a non-business day, it will be processed on the next business day, and you can expect your money to show up in your Nominated Account the following business day after that.
You will always receive a text message notifying you of the withdrawal request on the processing day.
